This heavier roast is the sinister step-brother to A Love Supreme, and highlights caramelized sugars within the coffee beans.
Our Premiere dark roast will produce flavors of molasses and baker's chocolate and pair perfectly with a splash of cream or a dash of sugar.
These beans are a nod to the old style of roasting which is still favored throughout the world.
Notes: Pear, Vanilla, Almond
Personal thoughts:
Uninteresting. Far from a bad cup of coffee, but flavor is almost entirely absent.
The beans themselves smelled nice, but even the scent disappeared once turned into coffee.
Moving away from the negative, this roast was light, easy to drink, and inoffensive.
It deserves some praise for these things alone, but I won't be purchasing the beans again.
This particular roast came with the shits, rest in peace to keeping these comfy.
Organic Colombia Orgánica Cooperative

The 125 members of the Orgánica cooperative (Associatión de Productores Orgánicos del Cauca) are located outside the towns of Popayán,
Piendamó, Tambo, and Timbío in the mountainous Cauca region of southern Colombia.
This group has been organically certified since 2005 and the farms range in size from 1 to 20 hectares.
This specific coffee lot comes from the 40 producers located in El Tambo.
Over this last year Allegro has helped fund the work of agronomists for this sub-group to look at issues related to organic production capacity,
organic pest management, organic compost building, and disease mitigation practices.
Notes: Red Fruits, Butterscotch, Grape Juice
Personal thoughts:
I have mixed feelings about this one.
It was far more flavorful than Giant Steps, but more flavor isn't necessarily a good thing.
The flavor was not something I overly enjoyed, but it still remained quite easy to drink.
I don't think I'll buy these beans again, as there are probably better options available.
I have, admittedly, been sick and congested since I started drinking these, so that may have something to do with my lack of enjoyment.
I'll save some for another week, and maybe have different a different experience then.
